Answering drone swarmswith a swarm of our own.

ArcDrone is building Canada’s first system for defending against kamikaze drone swarm attacks.

The Project

We are building the system to be set into infinitely scalable nodes. A node is one deployable unit that both finds incoming drones and takes them down, and it can be set up on a site without permanent infrastructure. Each node has two parts: detection and interception. Click either one to see what it involves.

Nodes can also be interconnected. Several nodes share what they detect, cover overlapping airspace, and hand off targets between them, so a site can be protected by one node or a corridor by a chain of them. If one node goes offline, the others keep covering their own airspace.

Deployment

One node protects a single site. Linked together, several of them cover a corridor or a full perimeter and share what they detect, so if one drops out the others still see their own airspace. The places that need this are not only military.

The Founding Team

A small technical team, pairing engineering that can be tested in the field with go-to-market and defence-sector experience.
